Suzusan is a fashion brand based in Düsseldorf, Germany, known for its unique style that blends traditional Japanese techniques with contemporary design. The founder, Hiroyuki Murase, was born into a long-standing family of shibori artisans in Arimatsu, Aichi Prefecture, and established the brand with the goal of sharing the traditional craft of Arimatsu-Narumi shibori with the world.

Arimatsu-Narumi shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique with a history of over 400 years, in which fabric is tied, folded, or stitched before dyeing. Each piece produces a unique pattern with a distinctive texture and depth that can only be achieved through handcrafting. Suzusan applies this traditional technique while translating it into minimal, refined designs suited to modern lifestyles.
