About B-PF Studios

B-PF (Butler in the Peanut Factory) is a photography studio based in London, originally founded in Fish island/Hackney Wick E3. It began as a small, independent studio within an industrial area that has evolved into one of London’s key creative communities. The foundation of B-PF is rooted in a simple idea: a private and flexible space for image-making. As the studio developed, a second space was established in Shoreditch, expanding its function into a more production-focused environment.

Today, B-PF operates two distinct studios, each designed for a different approach to photography.

The Fish Island Studio E3 remains close to its origin — a private, flexible space that allows photographers to work freely and independently. It is suited for smaller productions, personal projects, and experimental shooting.

In contrast, the Shoreditch Studio E2 is built around technical precision and production support. Developed in collaboration with Swimmer Hair, it offers a fully controlled lighting environment with a stronger focus on direction, lighting setup, and technical execution.

B-PF functions through these two complementary spaces: one prioritising freedom and privacy, the other precision and technical support.

Across both spaces, B-PF is recognised for one thing — a studio where results can be achieved reliably.
